The ak2i official released a update patch for Ackeard 2i V1.4.3.That’s to say,now,acekard 2i 3ds join the list of DSi V1.4.3 supporting.Nice work !.

How to operate this update patch

1.Download the Ak2i kernel AKAIO 1.8.7and unzip it,put the kernel file into your TF Card.

2.Download the AK2i V1.4.3 Update patch and unzip it.

3. Please choose update file according to your console.

If you’re using DSi or DSXL please use ak2ifw_update_3ds21_DSi143.nds to update.

I f you’re using DSL or DSPhat please useak2ifw_update_3ds21_DSi143_onDSL.nds to update.

4.boot your console and Just follow the instructions after you run the update file.

Why running ak2i met " an error has occurred press and hold the power button to turn the system off "

A : first, assure you have download right firmware and make right operation(pls dont directly copy whole kernel files into your micro sd card after unzipped,you should open the folder and copy the root files into your micro sd card ).If still nonworking,pls try following method :

Prepare another lower verison console,such as NDS,or DSi that lower than V1.44 or 3DS.

1.Download the latest firmware V1.89 and udpated patch from here : acekard.com

2.unzip them and open the folder,then you will get these files _akaio files ,ak2ifw_update_3ds30_dsi144_onDSi_DSXL_3DS.nds , as well as ak2ifw_update_3ds30_dsi144_onDSL.nds.
3.If you use NDS,OR DSL,you need to copy _akaio files and ak2ifw_update_3ds30_dsi144_onDSL.nds to the micro sd card and put it into your ak2i and then power your DSphat or DSL, please eject your AK2i and reinsert it after the update program is running. Then press B, then press START key to finish update.

4. If you using DSi or DSXL or 3DS ,then put _akaio files and ak2ifw_update_3ds30_dsi144_onDSi_DSXL_3DS.nds on your DSi or DSXL or 3DS, please press START key to finish update.

Note : Never update your console before updating your card.

Pour fonctionne Acekard 2i, il vous faut une DS Lite ou une DSi/DSi XL en version 1.4.3 ou 3DS en 4.1.0.8 maximum

Sur DS Lite :
Copiez le fichier ak2ifw_update_3ds42_dsi144_onDSL.nds sur la micro sd
Lancez le fichier A
Pour lancer le flash (assurez-vous que votre DS/DSi soit bien chargée ou branchez là au secteur, si la console s’éteint en plein flash, la Acekard est bonne pour la casse)
Retirez la Acekard et réinsérez là
Appuyez sur B
Appuyez sur Start
Attendez environ 1 minute
éteignez votre console



Sur DSi et 3DS:
Copiez le fichier (acekard 2i)ak2ifw_update_3ds42_dsi144_onDSi_DSXL_3DS sur la micro sd
Lancez le fichier avec A
Pour lancer le flash (assurez-vous que votre DSi/DSi XL soit bien chargée ou branchez là au secteur, si la console s’éteint en plein flash, la Acekard est bonne pour la casse)
Appuyez sur Start

éteignez votre console
