3DS compatible avec WiiU

En marge de plusieurs conférences pour l’annonce de la sortie de la R4 WiiU un peu partout dans le monde, Nintendo a confirmé la compatibilité de la 3DS avec sa nouvelle console de salon via un jeu Monster Hunter. La WiiU, qui sortira le 30 novembre prochain en Europe, le 8 décembre au Japon et le 18 novembre aux États-Unis, disposera en effet d’un épisode de Monster Hunter intitulé Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (ou Monster Hunter Tri-3G HD).

Si la firme de Kyoto s’assure du même coup un énorme succès pour sa console, surtout qu’il est prévu pour le lancement japonais, dans un pack avec la WiiU, elle promet également une compatibilité avec la R4 3DS. Ce nouvel opus n’est autre qu’un remake HD de l’épisode 3DS intitulé Monster Hunter tri-3G, et les deux versions sortiront en même temps en occident dès mars prochain.

A cette occasion, les joueurs américains et européens pourront, s’ils possèdent les deux versions évidemment, transférer leurs données et ainsi continuer une partie débutée sur R4i 3DS pour la terminer sur WiiU, et inversement. Les sauvegardes seront compatibles, avec également un système d’échange de données. Mais ce n’est pas tout, puisque Nintendo annonce également qu’il sera possible de jouer entre joueurs WiiU et joueurs 3DS en local via un système de cross platform comme avec la PlayStation Vita et la PS3.

Mario Kart 7

But now the launch of Mario Kart 7 steering wheel peripheral is available to view. So, sit at the wheel of your portable gaming unit interior.

If Mario Kart Wii was released, makes a point to keep the wheel as a motion controller anyway, so why not make it a wheel. In the 3DS, but it seems to be adding effects and not much bulk.

R4i gold issue error?

If set, the R4i Gold 3DS card on Nintendo DSi / 3DS appears: Failed. Press and hold the POWER button to turn off the system. Please refer to the Nintendo DSi Operations for more information.

This is due to improper installation of the firmware on the card or the R4i Gold 3DS has not been installed with the latest version of firmware for the DSi or 3DS.

Note that the R4i Gold 3DS is blocked by the DSi or 3DS, installing the latest firmware version requires a DS Lite or DSi with firmware lower than 1.4.2

Can anyone how to doubt to check the firmware version, here is the guide on how to check the firmware:
A. Click Settings (the icon with the tool) from the main menu

What you need:
You need a DS Lite / DSi with firmware 1.4.3 or lower than a DS Lite update R4i Gold (r4i-gold.eu)-map for 1.4.3 compatible with the DSi.

How to fix : "system date error please check nds system date"

  

Question:

There are 2 methods to solve this problem.

1.1 Change the Date in DS.

    1.1.1 Take out the NDS cards and start up DS without them

    1.1.2 Tap the symbol in the middle of the screen at the bottom that looks like a DS.

    1.1.3 Tap the blue box with a calender and clock in.

    1.1.4 Change the date a month or two back.

    1.1.5 Restart DS with NDS cards in.

    1.1.6 Done!

1.2 Update R4 Firmware.

    1.2.1 Go to http://www.r4i-sdhc.com/downloade.asp

    1.2.2 Unrar the file and extract to memory card's root directory.

  •         go to www.download.com to download "winrar" software.
  •         install winrar.exe into your computer. (after you install the software, you can see the book icon for all *.rar file)

FAQ of R4 3ds

1.“System date error! Please check NDS system date.”
Please update DS game system date to the current date.

2.1 The game will play just fine but it will not recognize the save file the next time the game is loaded.
2.2 Always got stuck at “save file not found” error message during loading game.
2.3 R4i don't save game. When restart the DSi, the game is started at the beginning.
The file system of the SD card might be problem, First copy all the contain of the SD card to the computer for backup, Second reformatting the SD card, for SD card more than 1GB please format to FAT32. Last copy back the backup files to the SD card again.

3. An error message appears whenever restart saying that the file name of a game is too long.
There is a maximum limit of the full path name in the kernel (max 80 chars). Please reduce the filename, it will work again.

4. How to change the language setting of the R4i?
To change prefer language, press “X, B” to select the “language” setting button which locate at the top screen (third icon from the top). User also can configure the “language.ini” locate at the R4iMenu folder to configure the preference language manually.

5. When start it up with a download game, the game cannot play.
That is due to the anti‐flash card routine of the new games. Download the latest version of the R4i kernel which provides the solution for the game, in the meanwhile temporary can use the patch version of the ROM (if available in the web). Report the name of problem game to the R4i‐SDHC support team.

6. How to customize or change R4i skin/themes?
Can download customize skin from the official web site www.r4i-sdhc.com.
To create the own customize skins/themes; please refer to the document “ English kernel download instruction” which can be found at the official web site. For the R4i v1.08b onward the kernel will able to support multiple skins, user can install maximum up to 8 skins/themes to the kernel.

7. If the games list is pretty large, and only 4 games at a time as I scroll thru them, and each has its own icon. It takes forever to scroll thru the list. Is there a way to just view text?
There is a “zoom in/out” icon at the left bottom corner of the bottom/touch screen. Press it to switch to the text view mode.
Also can use the left/right button the scroll the list by page mode, each page contain 4 games.

8. How to return back to the firmware/kernel during playing game?
Press at the keys (left + right + up + down + X + Y + B + A + L + R) during playing games.

9. How to enable game cheating?
First highlight the NDS ROM you want to apply the cheats to. Second press the B button to go into the cheats options menu and checkmark each cheat you want to enable.
Third turn the cheats on for that ROM by clicking the cheat on/off button. Last you'll notice the wrench icon will be yellow which indicates cheats are on. You have to press “x” or “B” to view the cheats and to turn it on don’t forget to press the save button when the cheat is on the grey key turns gold Gold= ON Gray= OFF Please update the “usrcheat.dat” from the ‐SDHC official web site www.r4i-sdhc.com to support cheat function of new games.

10. How to return back to the firmware/kernel from Moonshell (multimedia player)?
Press “start” button, and select the “Return to the firmware” from the menu.

11. Stuck at the “MENU” screen after loading DSi.
No firmware or wrong firmware was installed in the SD card. Please refer to the instruction to install R4i‐SDHC to the SD card. The instruction can be found at the R4i‐SDHC official web site www.r4i-sdhc.com.

12. Stuck at the “NO CARD” screen after loading DSi.
SD Card not found. Please check whether SD card was insert properly or not into the flash card. Otherwise SD card could be fault.

13. Stuck at the “LOADING” screen after loading DSi.
Make sure using the official firmware from the R4i‐SDHC official web site www.r4i-sdhc.com Or the flash card is not “R4I‐SDHC or R4‐SDHC”.

14. R4 3DS card don't save game. When restart the 3DS console, game start at the beginning.
The file system of the SD card might be problem, First copy all the contain of the SD card to the computer for backup, Second reformatting the SD card, for SD card more than 1GB please format to FAT32. Last copy back the backup files to the SD card again.

15. While restart, An error message appears: "the file name of game is too long".

Acekard 2i compatible avec dsi/dsl/dsi xl 1.4.4 et 3ds 4.2.0-9

Pour fonctionne Acekard 2i, il vous faut une DS Lite ou une DSi/DSi XL en version 1.4.3 ou 3DS en 4.1.0.8 maximum

Téléchargez le dernier "Flash" de la team Acekard : http://www.acekard.com

Sur DS Lite :
Copiez le fichier ak2ifw_update_3ds42_dsi144_onDSL.nds sur la micro sd
Lancez le fichier A
Pour lancer le flash (assurez-vous que votre DS/DSi soit bien chargée ou branchez là au secteur, si la console s’éteint en plein flash, la Acekard est bonne pour la casse)
Retirez la Acekard et réinsérez là
Appuyez sur B
Appuyez sur Start
Attendez environ 1 minute
éteignez votre console
